E-conomic in different languages

Do you feel more comfortable working with your company accounts in a language other than English? Or does your company have employees of different nationalities who would benefit from working in another language?

Luckily for you, the E-conomic accounting system is a multilingual application that provides you with the opportunity to work with the United Kingdom accounting system application with an interface in another language if that’s what you wish.

How will this change affect the system?

When you change the interface language, then only the language throughout the user interface will change – e.g. all of the system functions will change to the language that you choose.

In case you have more than one user on your account and one wishes to work in another language, the interface language is specialized for each account – therefore not affecting any other user accounts. This means that each of your company users can work in the language with which they feel most comfortable.

How do I change the interface language?

You can change the interface language in E-conomic quickly and easily.

On the “Settings” tab, simply select “Users”. Once inside, you can edit the “Language” field as you wish. At this time you can choose between eight different languages: English, French, German, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, or Spanish.

Multicurrency functionality

Along with multilingual functionality, E-conomic also supports accounting in multiple currencies. When you begin working with E-conomic you can change your base currency to the one that your company primarily does business in.

Note: You can only change the base currency of your application before you have began to enter any financial information into E-conomic. Change your base currency first, before entering any data.

Furthermore, E-conomic allows you to send invoices and receive payments from international customers and suppliers in other languages than your base currency. In E-conomic our currency is updated daily (during the evening) by XE.com for a number of exchange rates
