E-conomic's technical setup
Internet
E-conomic is connected to the internet through several independent internet connections. This means, that in the event of one connection breaking, another one is always immediately ready to take over. Thus you always have access to the accounting system.
Firewalls
Several firewalls protect against hackers and other unauthorized attempts of entry. If one firewall should break down another firewall immediately sweeps into action, securing your data at all times.
Load balancers
Through a number of load balancers, traffic is directed to the web server which is least occupied at that particular moment in time. This means the response time is optimised, none of the servers are overloaded - and you are guaranteed your application is as fast as possible.
Web servers
The E-conomic application lies on the web servers. From here you enter your data, send out invoices etc. Should a problem occur with one server, several other servers will instantly take over.
Database
Your accounting data is stored in the database. Through a number of database servers, your data will always be available. Every quarter of an hour - 24/7, all new and changed data is backed up in a secure location.
