System requirements - PC and Mac

Basically, the only requirements for using e-conomic are a computer and a browser

But to ensure that you fully benefit from the system, here are a couple of useful tips.

PC, Mac and operating system

e-conomic functions on both PC and Mac.

If you use a PC, your operating system should be Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, ME or Vista. If you use a Mac, the operating system should be OS X 10.3 or higher.

Browser

If you are reading this, you already have a browser installed.

We recommend that you use as a minimum Internet Explorer 6.0 or Firefox 3.0, if you use a PC. If you use a Mac, you can use Firefox 3.0 (English version) or a higher version.

Screen resolution

e-conomic is optimised for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.

If your screen has a lower resolution, there may for instance be e-conomic buttons or menu items that you cannot see.

Broadband connection

You should use a fast broadband connection with high download speed.

The download speed is the figure before the slash. Example: if your broadband connection is 2048/512 Kbit/s, the download speed is 2048 Kbit/s, while the upload speed is 512 Kbit/s.

Adobe Reader

In e-conomic invoices, quotations, order confirmations, etc. are shown in PDF format. Consequently, Adobe® Reader® must be installed on your PC for you to see them.

You can download the program from www.adobe.com.
