E-conomic apps connect the accounting system to a world of possibilities

In E-conomic, we refer to programs or connections that allow data exchange between E-conomic and other programs, e.g. webshops, as Apps. The connection between E-conomic and other programs can help to automate administrative tasks between two systems that you work with. This allows you to spend less time on manual tasks in your company and focus more time on bringing in more customers and added more value to your business.

To explain, here is an example of how a webshop app works: When a new order is received in the webshop, this customer is automatically registered in E-conomic. Subsequently, an invoice is created in E-conomic that is returned to the webshop to be sent to the customer. Once the invoice has been paid in the webshop, the total is automatically updated and booked into the E-conomic system.

Apps enable you to exchange data between the two systems. Your external program can pull information from E-conomic (e.g. customer master data), transfer information into E-conomic (e.g. product data), or both!
