What do we really mean when we speak about "integration", and how do I get started?

We define an integration as a connection between two software systems or programs - E-conomic and another supplier's system or program, for example a web shop.

With a connection like this, data can be exchanged between the two systems, thus allowing your program to either supply data to E-conomic (e.g. product data) or extract data from E-conomic (e.g. customer master data) - or both.

In our integration section, you can see examples of integrations developed by our partners. Go there to find inspiration for your own solution, to see the solutions available on the market and to find contact information for each company.

How do I start integrating?

Subscribing to E-conomic, also gives you access to our API. This is a free add-on module that you activate yourself. Our small video presentation shows you how to activate the API in E-conomic.

We regularly update the API as new functionality is developed and as the application is improved.

In the API Forum, you can get updated on the latest API debate. Here partners and developers can exchange ideas and experiences, find news about the API, ask questions and offer or request resources for developing new integrations.

E-conomic establishes contact between partners and developers and also facilitates and participates actively in the debate in the API Forum. Naturally, we also answer questions about your integration possibilities.
