E-conomic wins Nordic Trade and Investment Business Award 2010

Yesterday, March 4th, an extremely pleased and proud founding partner, Anders Bjornsbo took his place on the red carpet at the London Stock Exchange with a very desirable trophy in his hand – winner of the category 'Best Nordic UK Newcomer'.

An acknowledgement that pioneering a whole new way of thinking may be a hard furrow to plough but is exceptionally rewarding when it does pay off.

'We are enormously grateful to UK Trade Investment for choosing E-conomic as a contender and obviously even more grateful that they judged our achievements worthy of the award'.

Anders thinks the recipe for success is: 'Knowing your market and knowing your market will benefit exponentially from your product. And the tough part? ‘Getting your market to cotton on to the fact!

'But now we’ve done that, we’re seeing the fruits of our labour not only in the increased size of our client base but in the variation of the size of business with which we’re working.

In fact, two of the top accounting firms in the UK have been using E-conomic now for a year-long testing period, are delighted with the way it’s working for them and are fully launching shortly – watch this space for further announcements!'

Anders was also keen to emphasise just how delighted he is that the company policy of investing heavily in the UK as a stepping stone into Europe and beyond has proved so successful.

'Since we entered the UK market in 2007 we have experienced extremely rapid growth within the ICT online accounting sector. E-conomic is now a leading supplier of online accounting services in the UK, with a 60% increase in turnover in 2009 which we predict will continue for 2010'.
