New Market Package is available for use
E-conomic's 43rd Market Package introduces link support in the invoice layout, enhancements to the bank reconciliation workflow and the option to use file names as notes when using scanning.
Link update in Design and layout
You can now use links on text and image elements.
Simply edit the element in Design & Layout, type the URL you wish to link to, and the entire element will become a link on the PDF! Both web and e-mail (mailto:) links are supported.
Please note that some PDF viewers – most notably Adobe Reader – will issue a security error if you try to click on a link on a PDF viewed in a browser. The workaround is to save the PDF first and view it outside a browser.
Cost price editing improvement
Users can now edit (unit) cost prices directly on quotation/order/invoice lines, which has been requested frequently over the years. For users of the Stock Management add-on module, only cost prices for services can be edited this way.
A couple of bug fixes for user IDs and company names that include ampersands (“&”) when signed up from the e-conomic web site.
Improvements to Bank rec
The cash account drop-down now indicates the newest bank-side entry date for each cash account for a quick overview of whether bank imports are up-to-date.
Furthermore, when importing bank-side entries, unchecking the 'Import duplicate entries' checkbox no longer returns an error if the file contains previously-imported entries. Instead, these are simply ignored. This makes it much easier to import increasingly larger files without having to check whether entries have previously been imported.
Enhancements for Scanning
By very popular demand from users, document file names can now be used as default notes – in addition to the recently-introduced option of using the e-mail subject as a note.
Additionally,
during bulk deletions of scanned documents, a warning is now issued prior to deletion.
It is now possible to set up pop-up texts to be shown when users register an add-on module. In addition to the e-mails already in place, this gives you even further possibilities in providing users with easy Getting Started information for their newly-registered add-on module.
