Well, with the recent tune-up of our website performance here at E-conomic, you will not be wasting time on such inactivity while browsing our web pages.

We won't keep you waiting

In today's world, no one wants to waste their time waiting for web pages to load. We go online because we want to grab information and then move on quickly. So, here at E-conomic we have taken a closer look at how we can improve the speed and page load times of our websites.

Since we launched our new website Content Management System (which is based on Lotus Domino) back in October 2009, we have been improving on more than twenty areas that can affect speed of page loading. The results we have seen have been immensely rewarding.

With our recent technical adjustments, most importantly the changes to our webserver load balancer, we have managed to reduce the average page load time on www.e-conomic.com to 0.3 seconds (according to Google Webmaster Tools). The same tool shows that this has put www.e-conomic.com among the top 1% of all websites.

With other page speed test tools, such as Pingdom or Webslug, we have confirmed the fast results with numbers in the 0.2 - 0.4 second range.

Tools for getting up to speed

While we are very content with our recent website performance achievements, we will continue to strive to offer our customers even faster websites. Our next goal will be to reach a page load time of 0.2 seconds, as measured by Google Webmaster Tools.

To reach this milestone will require improvements in many areas, for instance further front-end optimisation, fine-tuning our web servers and installing even more powerful server hardware.
