Enhanced report and import features

19 October 2011

Lots of improvements in Market Package 46!

In E-conomic's latest batch of system improvements - termed Market Package 46 - you will find a new Purchase Statistics report for users without the Stock Management module, additional import options and much more.

New Purchase Statistics report

For users without the Stock Management module, a new Purchase Statistics report is available, giving an overview of purchases by either suppliers or cost accounts. This has been a frequent request from users, and acts as a logical supplement to the Turnover Statistics report (with sales statistics) for users without the Stock Management module.

In the
Budget report, accounts with 0 balance can now optionally be hidden.

Additional import features

When importing customers, you can now define per-customer payment terms, instead of simply a fixed value for all customers. This way, importing customers with different payment terms obviously becomes much faster.

Conversely, a fixed-value option has now been added for the 'Access' column, meaning that you no longer have to specify e.g. '1' for access and '0' for barred.

New API matching options

Customer and supplier entries can now be matched using the API, facilitating much tighter invoicing-and-payment apps.

Bug fixes

The Setup wizard has been improved so that e.g. the 'Select default setup' wizard step is no longer displayed when you have navigated to default setups and/or default setup Chart of Accounts and may thus be about to select a default setup.

Supplier payments file export: The selection for overriding the original payment date is now implemented correctly.

When
bulk-booking invoices, a proper error message is now shown if the selected invoices include one or more barred customers.

Supplier payments: Changing the payment type of a supplier invoice from an actual payment to 'Entry only' no longer results in a system error.

Sales invoice accruals: Accrual entries are no longer registered with VAT codes.

Company deregistration: You are now required to specify a rating when deregistering.

Product ledger card (Stock Management): Fix for incorrectly showing multiple opening balances.

Subscription: Index factors of '0' no longer make subscription jobs crash.

Project Accounting: Cost reallocations would incorrectly always result in sales prices of 1.00.
