System improvements for September

21 September 2010

A number of system improvements and new functionality were released today

Small/standard improvements

  • Now when booking a day book, the date interval selection shows the dates without verbal month name references.
  • The supplier balance list, the customer balance list and the supplier ledger card report contain the company registration number of each customer or supplier. (Note: at this time this feature is not supported in the customer ledger card report – only the supplier ledger card report.)
  • In the past, if one emailed an invoice or other document from E-conomic, a message would appear reading “You can get Adobe Reader here”. This pop-up message has been removed, as all computers today come with a PDF reader.

Bank Integration improvements

  • When you export supplier payments, you can automatically consolidate multiple payments for the same supplier and date. This is good news for companies that pay mulitiple invoices to one supplier and are charged a fee each time they make one of these individual payments.

New local features

All
  • The National Report Designer has been changed so that instead of seeing just a single “Other reports” link, you now find a direct link to each report in the left menu.
