E-conomic updates April

27 April 2010

Today's Market Package release contains a variety of improvements to add-on modules

Improvements to the Project Accounting and Stock Management add-on modules

For users running both Project and Stock Management, it is now possible to register product usage on projects.

The procedure resembles the one for stock adjustments - with the exception that when booked, the product usage will be converted to project costs. Like other project costs, these costs can then be transferred to invoices.

Improvements to the Dimension add-on module

When importing COAs, the field “Mandatory department” is now also available.

If you leave the field blank or type in "0" or "-", this will be interpreted as "no". Anything else will be interpreted as "yes".

API optimisations

The E-conomic API has been greatly optimized, particularly for downloads of large registers.

This optimisation will affect the bulk downloading of creditors, debtors and products as well as creditor, debtor and finance entries.

Similar optimizations for additional registers will be included in upcoming Market Package releases.

New currency: QAR

The Qatari riyal (ISO code: QAR) is now added to the list of fixed exchange rates.

Improvements to the Basic tab

The Fixed assets as well as the Accruals reports are now available for adding to Basic tabs for users running these add-on modules.

Additionally, users who have access to custom Report Designer-generated reports may add the "Your Reports" menu item to Basic tabs.
