Help to get you started with the new E-conomic app
The information that you need to begin working with your E-conomic accounts in
the E-conomic iPhone application.

The support you need for your E-conomic iPhone app
Before you begin
- You must activate the API add-on module in your E-conomic agreement. (This is easy to do - see a video about how to activate the free E-conomic API here.)
- You have to be an E-conomic user (not an administrator).
- The iPhone app is synchronized with your E-conomic application, so remember that any changes made on the phone will be updated in your E-conomic web interface as well.
- Please be patient - when you log in for the first time, all of your accounts will be sync with your iPhone applicaiton. This could take a little while. If your accounts are very large, then we don't recommend that you use the iPhone app unless you will be very patient.
- After your phone has finished syncronizing, the iPhone application will only update changes. This means that using the application won't take as long to start after the first initial use/sycnronization.

A few reminders
At the moment, the iPhone app is available in English and Danish only. The default language adpats to your phone settings, but can be changed on the Settings menu when you are logged in to E-conomic.
The iPhone app is a free solution. For this reason, we are currently unable to offer phone support for the app. Support can be found here on the website or, if you have a specific question, please contact us at

The E-conomic iPhone app is supported by all versions of the
iPhone and the iPad.
Log in
By using "View trial", it is possible to take a trial of the iPhone application without a subscription to E-conomic. Note: the data that you enter is visible to others, and we therefore don't recommend that you send invoices from the trial version.

If you are an E-conomic user currently, then you must provide your user details before you can log on to the app. You only have to do this once if you choose "Remember me".
Reminder: It could take up to twenty minutes for your accounts to synchronize. This entirely depends on your accounts' size, the speed of your internet connection and which iPhone you are logging into.
Further help
Before
contacting us by email about problems with the iPhone app, please try the following steps first:
- Check that the API module is indeed activated in your E-conomic agreement
- Check that your iPhone is accessing the internet
- Check to be sure that your E-conomic user profile has the right to access the application (currently administrators are not able to use the iPhone application)
- Make sure that you have ran a 100% synchronization (this could take up to twenty minutes)
- Restart your iPhone and see if the problem remains

Please be patient, and remember that the iPhone app needs to retrieve a large amount of data from your accounts. If you click an icon or a function numerous times, the app could crash. If this does happen, simply restart the app and synchronize again.
